Making A Purchase
Orders can
be made via online shop, email, fax, telephone or in writing.
We accept all major credit/debit card payments as well as cheques(allow
3 days extra to clear).
Items charged at the point of ordering and payment will be confirmed by email if address provided.
Orders for goods must refer to the Discount Floor Heating
Ltd Conditions of Sale terms, available on request from Discount Floor Heating Ltd.
Delivery Schedule
Delivery will normally be
within 3 working days
(add a further 3 days when paying by cheque). For specific orders on goods to be manufactured, delivery dates will be
arranged within the contract. Delivery dates are estimates only. You
will be informed if there are to be any delays but
we will endeavour to adhere to delivery dates. Delivery charges shown apply to mainland
UK only.
Delivery Conditions
All goods must be signed
for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that
age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods may
be retained by the driver. The driver will leave notification of
attempted delivery and will attempt to redeliver the next working
day. If still unable to deliver the courier will keep goods in
nearest depot for 5 days and it is then the recipient's
responsibility to contact the courier to arrange delivery or
collection. If the goods have not been collected or re delivered
within the 5 day period they will be deemed as
a 'Failed Delivery'
Failed Delivery
Failed Delivery goods will be returned to Discount Floor Heating Ltd at a cost of £10 plus VAT which
will be passed on to the customer when delivery is finally made.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK and EU countries 17.5% VAT is added. All other
orders are VAT free and you should inform us of your tax free status when ordering
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order
is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after
they reach our internal system. Credit card numbers are not held
in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
Flexel element and cable products carry a 10 year guarantee providing
all sales and installation instructions are adhered to.
Thermostats usually carry a 1 year manufacturers warranty.
Privacy Policy
Discount Floor Heating Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to
third parties. All information received is protected under the Data
Protection Act 1984.
Returns Policy
Items will be refunded or returned if they are
found to be faulty or defective. None faulty items returned will
only be refunded if in a re-saleable condition, less any carriage
costs when supplying the goods.
Price Promise
If within 7 days of purchase you
find the same(like for like) product in stock on the UK mainland, boxed, brand new,UK sourced
and supplied via an official UK supplier, we will match their price (excluding delivery).
Point us to the website (or provide us with the written details of where and when
you saw the underfloor heating product and we will offer a no quibble refund of
the difference.
This refund only applies once within the 7 days.
Please note: in the event that our competitors do not have telephone contact details
or prices shown on their website to verify the price match; then we would require you to
obtain written confirmation on that companies stationary.
